Our first Unit of Inquiry, Throughout life, our bodies go through a series of changes that make us who we are, has passed. We have shown a great interest in this topic, which has been one of our favourites as well.
During these weeks, we have inquired a lot. Making mind maps has made us realise how complex our body is. We have learned about the types and functions of body systems. Venn's diagram helped us discuss different physical, social and emotional changes associated with puberty. We inquired about some important puberty vocabulary and have used that vocabulary successfully throughout the Unit. Within our PE and Science lessons, we have been taught that our responsibility to our bodies is huge. We did some breathing exercises that can help us in the future.
This Unit made us think about our bodies and its importance. Like the true inquires, we had so many questions and wanted to learn more about this topic. Our wonder wall is filled with questions we have found the answers for.
After this Unit, we can conclude that our social skills have improved. We were very cooperative and made our teachers proud.
