Secret Santa
This year PYP4 students had their special Secret Santa. The point of this ‘Secret Santa’ game was to gift a book that they already have and like. They shouldn't have bought a new book, that way they were missing the whole point of this game. Something dear to them and something from the heart is a far better gift than anything you can buy of the store shelves!
A book that they were gifting should have been preferably in English. If not, they could have found a book in Croatian, or in their native language. It should have been a book they have enjoyed for some time now, but feel like someone else could enjoy it, too!
They needed to wrap the book in eco-friendly/recyclable non-see-through wrapping paper. The point was to not be able to see the covers of the book. The note on the wrapping paper should not have the title, the names of characters or the obvious story plot. Therefore the motto of the game was:
Don’t judge the book by its covers! Because we can’t even see the covers!
PYP4 students really enjoyed this game and were quite excited to open their new books. Have a look in our gallery to see their thrilled faces. :)
