On a bright and sunny day, PYP 1 and PYP 2 students took a special trip to the local fire station in Savska. The brave firefighters greeted us warmly and gave us a tour of the
station. We learned about the important gear they use to stay safe, watched a firefighter slide down the pole, and even held the water hose, with the help of the firefighters. We also met the mascot, a bear Brave Hrvoje (Hrabri Hrvoje).

Excitement filled the air as we sat inside a real firefighter truck, we were lucky enough to get a ride too. The highlight was when the firefighter turned on the siren! As we wrapped up our visit, we received sweet treats and said our farewells. On the journey back to school, we indulged in delicious ice cream and cookies.
