In the realm of hands-on learning, PYP2 students took on the challenge of their 'Natural Disasters' unit with gusto. Through the Marshmallow & Spaghetti Tower Challenge, they explored resilience in the face of adversity.

With marshmallows and spaghetti, teams of students constructed towers designed to withstand simulated natural disasters. As towers rose and fell, students embraced setbacks as learning opportunities, fostering resilience and problem-solving skills.

Beyond construction, the challenge sparked discussions on disaster mitigation and community resilience. Students explored STEM's role in protecting vulnerable populations and mitigating disaster effects.
