Collaboration with the Safer Internet Centre 

On April 12th the MYP2 and MYP3 students participated in an interactive workshop ‘Effects of Video Games on Teen Mental Health’ organised by the Safer Internet Centre. With the increasing popularity of playing video games, as well as the constant appearance of new video games, we need to pay special attention to possible inappropriate content and negative effects that video games can have on the players as well as possible dangers. The students were advised on what to pay attention to before starting and while playing video games in order to play video games responsibly and how to avoid internet addiction and other negative influences and dangers.

We are thankful to Ms. Tea Čičić for teaching us how to safely and responsibly play video games. Together we can work to create a safer environment for children and young people in the digital environment, especially when playing video games, which is increasingly widespread.
