In the week from April 6th to 13th in Novigrad in Istria, the Croatian teacher Ms. Mirjana and I attended the School of Creativity called ‘Novigradsko proljeće’.

It is a seven-day program featuring a common theme and offering 21 diverse workshops tailored for motivated and potentially gifted primary and high school students. I participated in the singing workshop, where we performed more than 12 songs in the Cathedral of Saint Pelagius. These included pieces related to the year's theme of the circle and some traditional church songs. During the closing ceremony, I joined children from the stage music and composition workshop to sing the program's hymn and two additional songs related to the theme.

Participating in 'Novigradsko proljeće' was one of my most cherished memories. I had made a lot of friends and still keep in touch with fellow participants. The singing workshop was particularly amazing; our mentor not only enhanced our singing abilities but also guided us through mistakes, making it an unforgettable experience. I look forward to the possibility of returning next year!
