The Body System
PYP3 students recently dove into an exciting unit on The Body System, where they explored how various organs and body systems work together. As part of their learning journey, the students built hands-on models representing different organs, such as the lungs, heart, and hands, bringing to life the complex functions within our bodies.
In addition to the models, each student created informative posters that answered questions on essential topics. Some of the intriguing questions they explored included: Why is blood red?, How do our hands work?, and What causes a heart attack? These posters highlighted both scientific explanations and creative visuals, helping students understand and explain complex biological processes.
The project has not only enhanced their knowledge of the body system but also fostered their creativity and curiosity. The students were thrilled to share their models and findings, making this learning experience a memorable and inspiring part of their studies!
