In this unit, PYP1 students explored cooperation through cultural traditions, math, and social skills. Collaborating with PYP0, PYP1 learned the Croatian dance "Kolo" and sang "Mi smo djeca vesela", fostering teamwork and cultural appreciation.

Math & Social Skills

Students practiced position and direction through interactive activities, enhancing spatial awareness. They also developed ATL Social Skills by listening, sharing, and working together.

IB Learner Attributes

Students demonstrated being Knowledgeable (cultural and math learning), Thinkers (problem-solving in dance and positioning), Open-minded (embracing new experiences), and Caring (supporting younger peers).

This unit reinforced the power of teamwork—when "male ruke slože", great things happen!
