This week, our PYP0 students had a very special experience — their very first visit to the school library! With wide eyes and lots of excitement, the children explored the shelves, discovering that the library is a place filled with stories, pictures, and new adventures.

To make the occasion even more memorable, each child created their own artwork during class. These colorful, imaginative drawings were then turned into personalized library cards. The children were proud to see their own creations become something they can use every time they borrow a book.

This activity not only celebrated creativity, but also introduced our preschoolers to the joy of reading and taking care of books. Their first library cards will be a meaningful reminder that they are now part of our school’s community of readers.

We look forward to many more visits, stories, and discoveries as our youngest learners begin their lifelong reading journey!
