This year MYP1 Croatian Language and Literature Group had a Croatian book report ‘Povjestice’. It was written by the greatest writer of Zagreb - August Šenoa. On December 13th teacher Ina took us on a sightseeing tour called ‘The Footsteps of August Šenoa’ that is organised to honour the 180th anniversary of his birth.

We visited the locations where Šenoa lived and worked. We also visited the Mirogoj Cemetery where his grave is. Despite the cold and windy weather we all really liked this learning outside the classroom. I hope we will have this kind of field class again since it makes learning more fun and vivid.
