Attention! Science experiments in progress!

Everyone knows that being hands-on is especially important in the classroom because it allows students to engage in kinesthetic learning and 'doing' helps them to gain a better understanding of the things being learned. It allows students to experiment with trial and error, learn from their mistakes, and understand the potential gaps between theory and practice. PYP 3 students got to prove this last week, during the Science lesson, as they were conducting 5 different experiments with water. Students were experimenting with properties of water, proofing that water is a universal solvent and testing three different states of water- gas, liquid and solid.
