Remote scientists at work
Now, more than ever, it is important to take care of ourselves and learn about health and hygiene. And what better way there is to learn than experimenting?
Take a look at how we turned our homes into science labs:
Glitter/Honey Experiment
We put glitter or honey on our hands and shook hands with our parents/brother/sister. The glitter and honey represented germs which can spread easily if we don't keep our hands clean. We washed hands with soap and the germs were gone!
Pepper and Soap Experiment
We put some pepper in water and put our finger in - nothing happened. Then we put some soap on our finger and WOW - pepper ran away from the soap. Just like pepper, germs are scared of soap!
A Giant Virus Model
We wanted to know how a virus looks like so we used play-doh and Q-tips to make a model of a giant virus.
We had plenty of fun doing the experiments! Maybe you can try them, too ☺
