Golden Ratio Logos
We can all agree that some products rule the current market and are recognized for just their logos (Google, Twitter, Apple, Disney…). The marketing and designing of those brands is an example of a job well done. All those successful brands have one thing in common. They have all been using Golden ratio! And, just like that, “beauty” stopped being subjective and started being measurable!
During this project the MYP2 students performed a position of head of marketing. They were expected to show creativity, innovation and cunningness in attracting customers and fighting off competition.
Their job was to design their own logo for their fictional (or existing) company. Their main goal would, of course, be to attract as many customers as possible. The very first step was to create a beautiful, memorable and unique logo inspired by the artist Piet Mondrian and Golden Ratio. In the photo gallery you may see some wonderful results of student work.
