Attention! Science experiments in progress!
Everyone knows that being hands-on is especially important in the classroom because it allows students to engage in kinesthetic learning and 'doing' helps them to gain a better understanding of the things being learned. It allows students to experiment with trial and error, learn from their mistakes, and understand the potential gaps between theory and practice.
PYP3 students got to prove this last week, during the Science lesson, as they were conducting 5 different experiments with water. Students were experimenting with properties of water, proofing that water is a universal solvent and testing three different states of water- gas, liquid and solid.
