Exhibition ‘Zagreb, the City of Female Artists’
On February 19th the MYP1, MYP2 and MYP3 students visited the exhibition ‘Zagreb, the City of Female Artists’ held at the Art Pavilion. The exhibition covers around hundred works of art, among which paintings, sculptures, video performances, audio and video installations.
Theatre visit - Kameni svatovi
On December 2nd the MYP0 and MYP1 students attending Croatian Language and Literature classes watched the play “Kameni svatovi” at the City Theatre “Žar ptica”.
Tesla car
As an integral part of the Design and Science interdisciplinary unit ’Energy efficiency’ the MYP1 students were presented the Tesla car by the PYP parents Ms. and Mr. Krezić.
Footsteps of August Šenoa
This year MYP1 Croatian Language and Literature Group had a Croatian book report ‘Povjestice’. It was written by the greatest writer of Zagreb - August Šenoa. On December 13th teacher Ina took us on a sightseeing tour called ‘The Footsteps of August Šenoa’ that is organised to honour the 180th anniversary of his birth.
Šenoa teaches us real human values
In the year when we celebrate the 180th anniversary of Šenoa's birth, MYP1 students were assigned to read his 'Povjestice'. They enjoyed the poems very much, but were especially delighted after watching his play 'Postolar i vrag' (Shoemaker and the Devil) at the Trešnja City Theatre.
