International Community Day 2024
Every year we look forward to our International Community Day when we join together and celebrate the variety of cultures, heritages and backgrounds that each student brings to our unique community.
We were happy to see 15 countries join us for the celebration this year: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, China, Croatia, Germany, Iran, Montenegro, The Netherlands, Poland, Singapore, Slovakia, Switzerland, Tűrkiye, Ukraine and USA.
A little bit of poetry to color these autumn days
Two students from MYP1 were inspired to write poems about seasons.
Field trip to Papuk Nature Park
At the beginning of October, MYP students went on a field trip to one of Slavonia’s favourite excursion sites – Papuk Nature Park, the first (and only) Croatian UNESCO Global Geopark. During our trip, we explored the Park's key biological, geological, and cultural historical sites.
Our adventure began at Duboka Adrenaline Park, where we engaged in a variety of sports activities. After lunch, we continued our exploration in Jankovac Forest Park, taking a guided walking tour along the Count’s Educational Trail.
Welcome to the Jungle!
We started the school year with a festive exhibition, turning our school into a jungle-themed wonderland! The installations feature artwork from last year's artwork of MYP0 and MYP1 students, along with creations from the Co-Art Creative Studio extracurricular activity.
The artwork, rich in floral motifs, celebrate the vibrant colours of local wildlife, while the jungle vegetation is designed as spatial compositions, crafted from collages and coloured paper into smooth, flat forms.
Community Projects 2023/2024
The MYP3 students successfully completed their community projects for this school year. Through a thorough investigation and service action, they addressed the needs of various communities. The students have acted as exceptional ambassadors in their community, showcasing their ability to represent the school with pride and dignity.
Sports Day 2024
On June 4th the students of national and international programme participated in a range of sports activities including football, volleyball, tennis and badminton, initiated and organised by our P.H.E. teachers. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and energy as everyone cheered on their classmates and friends.
